National Anthem
Army March (Vietnamese language: Tiến Quân Ca;) is the national anthem of Vietnam.
It was written and composed by Văn Cao (1923-1995) in 1944, and was adopted as
the national anthem of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945. It became the national
anthem of the unified Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1976. Although written with two verses,
only the first one is used as the official anthem
National Flower

The people of Vietnam regard the Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) as one of the four graceful flowers and plants, along with the pine, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. Known as the ‘flower of the dawn’, the Lotus is found throughout the country at lakes and ponds. To the Vietnamese, the lotus is the symbol of purity, commitment and optimism for the future. The elegance of the lotus is often cited in the Vietnamese folk songs and poems.
National Emblem
The national emblem of the Socialist Repubfic of Vietnam is circular in shape; in the middle of a red background is a fivepointed gold star framed by rice ears below which is half a cogwheel and the inscription: Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The State Emblem was approved by the National Assembly in the 5th Session of the First Legislature (Period from 15th to 20th, September, 1995). The Emblem was designed by Painter Tran Van Can. The rounded shape on red background with Five point Star in the middle symbolizes the revolutionary history of the Nation and the bright future of the Country. The rice ears surrounding the Emblem symbolizes the agriculture and the cogwheel symbolizes industry.

National Flag
The flag of Vietnam, also known as the "red flag with yellow star" (cờ đỏ sao vàng), was adopted as the flag of the Vietminh, a communist army, in 1941. In 1945, it was adopted by the newly-established Democratic Republic of Vietnam, which became the government of North Vietnam in 1954. The flag was adopted by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (united Vietnam), which was founded in 1976 following the Vietnam War
The national flag of the Socialist Republic of Viet nam is rectangular in shape, its width being equal to two-thirds of its length; in the middle of a red background is a five-pointed gold star.
The red Flag with yellow Five point Star appeased the first time in the resistance Nam Ky (Southern Vietnam) against French Colonialists (on 23rd November, 1940). The designer of this Flag was Mr. Nguyen Huu Tien (born on 5th March, 1901 in Ha Nam, fallen on 28th August, 1941).
President Ho Chi Minh Proclaimed the Declaration on Independence in the historical Badinh Square surrounded by a sea of Red Flag with Yellow Star. On the 5th September 1945, President Ho Chi Minh signed the Decree to make this Red Flag with Yellow Star as National Flag of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. On the 2nd March 1946, the Initial legislative period of National Assembly of the DRV has approved that the National Flag of Vietnam be the Red Flag with Yellow Five Star.
